Introducing our company

OuterLimits is building a vertically integrated organization, designed to function at the highest standards of quality and performance, beginning with people, machinery, software, and attitude. Quality-Assurance begins with ASTM specifications as well as MSFC for NASA space flight hardware. We have developed and will implement a plan to attain ISO 9100 and AS9100D as well as ISO13485 and API Q1 certifications. Cyber security programs meeting Cyber NAS9933, NIST SP 800-171 and CNNC 2.0 can be implemented if the need arises. Material will be certified as required under applicable ASTM specifications and MSFC-STD for NASA spaceflight components and hardware.                                              Our choices of machinery allow us to work with carbon fiber, copper, and high-performance alloys to include titanium, Monel, Hastelloy, Inconel, and others to include proprietary metals as certified. Advanced additive manufacturing with vertical integration in mind allows us to focus on customer designated materials and design so that we can produce ready to use components. OuterLimits will be an ITAR certified shop. Preferably, employees should possess the ability to access EAR and ITAR controlled Items, articles, and obtain security clearances. We are screening so that personnel have combined experiences in advanced programming, machining or additive manufacturing experience with steel, titanium, Monel, Hastelloy, HR-1, and other super alloys. > > An additional feature of our startup will be the inclusion of interns into our workforce. We are speaking with local colleges and a university that offer programs to teach machining to students needing to enter the manufacturing work force. The university offers engineering programs with an emphasis on hands-on research. OuterLimits would like to offer students real-time experience in an actual machine shop. Our machine shop is ready to support research while offering opportunities to gain hands-on experiences in the CNC manufacturing and metal 3D printing industries. > > We are looking for driven people who eat, sleep and dream manufacturing at aerospace speed and quality levels, just like us!We are very interested in sourcing critical components to Texas Triangle prime vendors. Several other major prime military/Aerospace contractors are within 200 miles of Waco. > > We are pursuing businesses located in Texas within the following Industries: Aerospace Energy, Department of Defense, and Gas/Petroleum/Chemical Industries in Texas as well as the entire U.S. All Texas businesses are important to us. There are approximately 1400 Aerospace companies in Texas and over 400 petrochemical companies (just) in the Houston area, with more statewide and in Louisiana. The 3D printing manufacturing portion of the oil & gas Industry will reach $1.5 B by 2025. We are working towards API certification and joining the API Monogram list of manufacturers… We aren’t limiting ourselves to Texas only… Nationwide the aerospace industry is valued at more than $416 billion. In Texas, there are currently 1,425 defense contractors.
